Alex Yonke
Alex Yonke has been working on musical productions for over five years and instrumental music programs for almost ten years. Previously, he served as both Director and Music Director for musical productions at Olympic View Middle School (Mukilteo, WA) as well as the Assistant Band Director and Music Booster President. His past credits include directing Legally Blonde Jr., Little Shop of Horrors and serving as the Music Director for Into the Woods Jr., Matilda Jr., and The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition. Currently, he is a special education teacher at Kamiak High School (Mukilteo, WA). When not teaching or directing, he enjoys spending time on the golf course.

Keith Curtis
Mr. Keith Curtis is thrilled to serve as our production’s Musical Director and Conductor. Now in his thirteenth year as band director at AMHS, Mr. Curtis greatly enjoys working with such a gifted and hard-working group of young people. A multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and humorist, Mr. Curtis enjoys creating memorable performances for audiences of all kinds.

Krista Patt
Krista grew up in Visalia, CA where she fell in love with dance and theater at a young age. She danced competitively for 10 years and had the pleasure of acting in more than 10 musicals. She has been involved with theater her whole life as an actress, singer, dancer, and now choreographer. Some shows she has worked on include Hairspray, Anything Goes, Company, Twelfth Night, Something Rotten, Peter Pan, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and others. As an adult, she has had the pleasure of choreographing several shows.
ChoreographerBrent Stainer has been the Technical Director at AMHS for many years. He is also the writer/director for the upcoming movie “The Phenomenal Funeral of Frankie Phillips” (premiering at PUD Auditorium on March 27). Aside from his work at Murphy, he is a writer and theatre tech guy all around the Puget Sound region - specializing in fly work, lighting, and effects.
Technical Director Brent Stainer
Somar Macek is very excited to be back working with the talented students at AMHS this year. She is a native of the Seattle area and has been singing all her life. She got her start singing at home and in church choir. Throughout her adolescent years, she received jazz and classical vocal training as well as performed in various vocal groups. Locally, she is known for her powerful lead vocals in her rock band, Heart By Heart. www.heartbyheart.com
Customer Service ManagerSomar Macek
An AMHS alum, she is a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of Cornish College of the Arts and of Seattle Rep’s Professional Arts Training Program, working to build up her portfolio as a Seattle lighting designer. Recent work includes Dial M For Murder with Village Theatre, Much Ado About Nothing with Somniterium Productions and the upcoming High School Musical Jr. In Concert with Village Theatre.
